Recently, our company assisted a client's product, the "Infrared Ear Thermometer," in obtaining the Certificate for the Pattern Approval of Measuring Instruments (CPA).

The Certificate for the Pattern Approval of Measuring Instruments (CPA) is a certification document issued by the State Administration for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine or relevant metrological administrative departments. It is used to confirm whether the design, structure, and performance of measuring instruments comply with national laws, regulations, and relevant technical specifications.

Even for medical device products, if they meet the relevant requirements of the "Catalog of Measuring Instruments Subject to Compulsory Management," they must obtain CPA approval before being sold.
